Accident Investigation
This training is focused to show accident investigations serve multiple purposes and are a vital part of any loss control program. The major reason to conduct an investigation is to determine the cause of the accident and implement corrective actions or preventative measures that may prevent similar accidents in the future. The conclusions of a detailed investigation report should allow your company to implement effective measures to eliminate or greatly minimize the hazards associated with the event and keep it from occurring again. In this course we will discuss accident investigation policies and procedures, personal injuries, first aid injuries, near misses, property damage forms, authorized investigators, investigative techniques, OSHA reporting requirements, and more.
Aerial Lift
(Mobile Elevating Work Platform) Safety
In this course we will review the OSHA regulations as they relate to the basic safety and management of various aerial lifts in the workplace. Aerial lifts are now referred to as mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and is a term that covers a wide range of different devices you may encounter at a manufacturing facility or on a construction site. MEWPs have been rapidly replacing more traditional methods of working at different heights over the last 15 to 20 years. They provide many advantages over traditional ladders, hoists, and fixed scaffolding. Because they are motorized and don’t require many hours of set up, most businesses will have at least one MEWP in use at any given time. Your safety depends on your proper use and maintenance of these important devices.
Asbestos Awareness
This course will review OSHA regulations as they relate to the awareness and management of asbestos in the work place. This course covers the awareness level training only as outlined in the standard. It is not intended to meet the two hour requirement or any of the other extensive training requirements detailed under the standard.
